The Association of Foreign Language Schools of Serbia YALS proudly implements its TEACHING AND LEARNING ENHANCED project, which is financially supported by Erasmus+, a donor program of the European Union for supporting activities in the field of education and training, as well as in relation to youth and sports in the period 2014-2020. years.
Six teachers from three YALS member schools are participating in this project. Maja Gavrilović Maksimović from the Livingston Language Center in Belgrade has the role of project coordinator, while these five professors took part in the so-called “mobilities”, i.e. the first phase of the project, which involves attending teacher training courses abroad:
- Milana Papić, from the Tom and Ema school in Belgrade, attended the Teaching English with Technology course at the ELC school in Brighton, UK, 17-28. June 2017
- Milijana Petrović, from the Livingston Language Center in Belgrade, attended the Language, Methodology and Culture course at the ELC school in Brighton, UK, 17-28. June 2017
- Sofija Ljiljak-Vukajlović, from the Tom and Ema school in Belgrade, attended the Spice Up Your Teaching Ideas: Methodology in Practice Today course at the ETI school in Malta, 24-28. July 2017
- Jovana Popović, from the Tom i Ema school in Belgrade, attended the courses CLIL – Online Tools for Teachers Working with CLIL and Spice Up Your Teaching Ideas: Methodology in Practice Today at the ETI school in Malta, 24-28. July 2017
- Jelena Spasić, from the Oxford School in Leskovac, attended the Teaching Methodology for Primary Level Teaching course at the ETI school in Malta, 24-28. July 2017
After returning to Serbia, the project participants started the second phase of the project, i.e. the knowledge dissemination phase, the aim of which is to spread the knowledge gained on the mobility courses with other colleagues, first through internal workshops in their schools, and then at external seminars.
