Two teachers from the YALS Association of Language Schools of Serbia – Sofija Ljiljak-Vukajlović and Jelena Spasić have recently been selected by ELTA-Serbia Association of Language Teachers of Serbia to represent it at two important regional and international events in Greece and Slovenia.
On 11 February 2017 Sofija Ljiljak-Vukajlović from Tom & Emma School, Belgrade, held a workshop titled “A Story to Tell… Use of Narrative in ELT” at the 24th TESOL Macedonia – Thrace Northern Greece Annual International Convention in Thessaloniki. A month later, she was followed by Jelena Spasić from Oxford School, Leskovac, who led a workshop under the name „Storytelling with The Giving Tree“ at 24th International IATEFL Slovenia Conference 2017 at Terme Topolšica on 11th March 2017.Both workshops were received with great interest and extremely positive feedback. The presenters took advantage of the opportunity to renew old acquaintances and develop new relationships with representatives of associations from different countries, which will be beneficial for all the parties involved.
