YALS, Association of Language Schools of Serbia has been an associate member of EAQUALS (Evaluation and Accreditation in Quality Language Services) since 2001. Our colleague, Mirjana Grandov Lacic, the head teacher of Oxford School Krusevac, attended, as a YALS representative, the International EAQUALS Conference which took place in Budapest from 24^th to 26^th April 2014. The conference had more than 200 attendees from all over the world, who attended a number of plenary sessions, presentations and workshops held by eminent experts from the institutions such as Cambridge University (English Assessment department) and British Council, publishers – Pearson Education, Oxford University Press and Macmillan, school chains – Eurocentres and International House and others from the ELT (English Language Teaching) field. The plenary sessions, presentations and workshops were focused on four topics: best practice in the classroom, CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), best practice in quality management and business and marketing management. Belgrade is going to be the host for the next event – EAQUALS Members’ meeting (13^th-15^th November 2014).
