YALS had a busy beginning of the school year. On 5 September we organized YALS Open Day for all schools interested in becoming YALS members. We renewed Memorandums of Understanding with both the British Council and ELTA at the beginning of October. We have become British Council partner for Aptis tests with exclusive rights during the trial period.
We continue to realize British Council courses, so we have adapted Learn English Pathways Elementary and started teaching in Blace. We have arranged the next YALS and BC seminar to be held in February next year with teacher trainer Nick Bilbrough. We applied for the accreditation of two seminars and we hope for a positive answer by the Institute for Advancement of Education.
We are looking forward to the next YALS In-house Seminar to be held in Jagodina by the end of November.
Being a professional association, we have decided to issue certificates on accreditation of YALS schools, who meet all the quality criteria, on a regular basis and to print them on a luxury paper, both in Serbian and English.
We honestly believe there are a lot of quality language schools in Serbia and again we invite them to join us.
