On Saturday, 30 November 2013, Penguin English School organised the tenth YALS seminar. The seminar was held on the premises of the secondary school ’’ Nikola Tesla’’ in Jagodina and the participants were English teachers, mostly YALS members, from all over Serbia. The guest of honour was Mr Tony O’Brien, the British Council Director for Western Balkans. On behalf of all YALS members, YALS Chair Marija Pejatović presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Mr O’Brien as a token of gratitude for a long-lasting cooperation and support. The topic of the seminar was ’’How to Capture Students’ Attention?’’, and the first workshop ’’Attention Grabbers on Interactive Whiteboard’’ was performed by Penguin English teachers Katarina Kostić and Marina Stošić, while the second one, ’’Music in the Classroom’’, was held by Olivera Nešić, also the Penguin English teacher.
